The largest photography and imaging show in North America is just around the corner and open for registration.
The annually held PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo will take place October 29 – November 1, 2014 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, to offer attendees, from professional photographers, advanced amateur photographers to photo students, from educators to art directors, filmmakers the opportunity to explore everything available in photography.

The topic for last year’s panel discussion was ‘What Will Photography Look Like in the Next Decade?’ with leaders of the industry that included Chuck Westfall of Canon, Steve Heiner of Nikon, Mark Weir of Sony and Scott Kelby of Kelby Training. It was an interesting discussion and there were some ideas within the limits (Canon, Nikon and Sony: who would like to talk about their future plans, projects very openly?) offered up as to where we think the future of photography will be 10 years from now given how far we’ve come in the last decade as a reference point. And this year’s topic is ‘How Technology is Leading the Storytelling Revolution’.
