In an effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus major New York City cultural institutions – such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET), The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA),  the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim, the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, the New York Philharmonic —decided temporarily to close their doors.

It wasn’t the only closures. New York Governor Cuomo also closed Broadway shows started today, 12 March at 5pm.

New York looked definitely darker!
